When is the last time you pampered yourself a bit? Everyone needs to take the time to do something special for themselves every so often. It was not until I nearly suffered a breakdown that I realized just how important it is to do something special for myself from time to time. Now, I make sure to spend a day every month at the spa getting my hair and nails done and getting a nice massage. I find it so rejuvenating and refreshing. The challenges that I face every single day as a single mother can become overwhelming, but knowing that I have that one day each month to unwind really helps make those challenges less of a struggle.
